The admission process for its undergraduate courses will be commenced by the University of Hyderabad, Telangana on May 21. Through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023, the admissions for 16 integrated courses will be done. Currently, courses are offered by the University of Hyderabad in the field of Life Sciences, Mathematics, Management Studies, Humanities, Economics, etc.
Duration of Courses offered by the University of Hyderabad
The admissions to 16 programs offered by the University of Hyderabad would be conducted through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023. Moreover, the duration of each program depends on the course. The Integrated MSc Programs are offered for a period of five years or ten semesters.
Integrated MSc Program includes Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Geology, Mathematical Sciences, Health Physiology and Optometry. The Integrated MA programs are offered for a period of five years or ten semesters. The Integrated MA Programs include Telugu, Hindi, etc. However, programs like Integrated MA in Anthropology are offered for a period of three years or six semesters.

Scholarships offered at the University of Hyderabad

Hostel Facilities at the University of Hyderabad
The university provides accommodation to more than 5,000 students who hail from distant places through 23 hostels located within the North and South campuses in order to aid the students at their convenience. As per the university guidelines, the hostel allotment process also takes the reservation process into account. Students residing in the municipality jurisdiction of Hyderabad and Secunderabad are not provided with Hostel facilities.

History of the University of Hyderabad
In 1974, the University of Hyderabad was established as a Central University. The University was established by an Act of Parliament. The University was housed by The Golden Threshold and until it was moved to its present location, it functioned from there.

The University of Hyderabad is located in Gachibowli. It is of 2300-odd acres. The campus is home to over 734 flower plants, tens species of mammals, 220 species of birds and fifteen species of reptiles and it is rich in flora and fauna.
