Due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation, The University Grants Commission has declared that the admission process in central universities for this academic session will continue to be the same as the previous year and the Central Universities Common Entrance Test may be implemented from the academic session 2022-2023.
The admissions for higher education institutions will begin after the declaration of results by CBSE on July 31 and the admission process will be through online or offline or blended mode according to the situation in that state.
The last date for completing the admission process is September 30 and the University Grants Commission has also instructed all the higher education institutions to start the classes for the first year UG and PG students by October 1 in online or offline or blended mode. However, if there is any delay in the declaration of the results, the classes can be planned and started from October 18.
However, the final year examinations must be completed by August 31 in offline or online or blended mode following the Covid-19 guidelines and with regards to the intermediate year students and intermediate semester, the assessment will be based on the previous semester and internal evaluation.
