48 students from Aligarh Muslim University were placed in leading IT companies such as Cognizant, KiwiTech and LTI Spark. This event took place in an on-campus recruitment drive of the Training and Placement Office and the General Training and Placement Office.
The Training and Placement Office is a part of the Department of Computer Science. Students who were placed were from the Engineering and Masters in Computer Application stream.
The Chairman of the Department of Computer Science stated that the students who were hired have been selected to work in various roles in these multinational companies. Students were selected after rigorous online aptitude tests and technical interviews.
The students were congratulated by the General Training and Placement Officer and wished them to work hard. In the meantime, Aligarh Muslim University will displayed the first merit list on November 26.
Selected candidates need to accept the admission by November 29. They can accept the admission and pay the fee till November 30 with late charges. The UG admission earlier began on November 21. Students are requested to visit amu.ac.in to know about various admission details.
