The Chief Minister of Maharashtra has announced that the schools for classes 8 to 12 will reopen on July 15. However, the schools will be reopened only in areas where no covid-19 cases were reported over the last month.
The Minister of School Education Department said that it has become the need of the hour to have an Online and Offline blended approach to education to reach out to the maximum number of students.
She asserted that vaccination must be given to the teachers and school staff on a priority basis and that the schools will follow the Covid-19 guidelines strictly. Timely temperature checks will be conducted and proper social distancing norms will be implemented inside the campus.
