- The schools in Karnataka state reopened yesterday i.e., September 6 for the students of Classes 6 to 8 in areas where the Covid-19 positivity rate is less than 2 percent by following the strict Covid-19 protocols and the standard guidelines.
- Students and teachers claim that after the struggle in online classes where the students could not understand anything and could not clear their doubts, they are happy to return back to their schools and visit their teachers and friends.
- However, in order to attend offline classes, it is mandatory for the students to submit a consent letter from their parents and if the parents are not willing to send their children to school, they can attend the online classes.
- Offline classes will be held five days a week on alternative days with 50 percent attendance and the weekends will be used for sanitizing the premises
