Today, the third cohort of British Council Scholarships was announced by the British Council for Women in STEM. A total of 26 scholarships and fellowships are reserved for women scholars in STEM scholars for those hailing from India and other countries in South Asia.
Also, women with dependents can also apply for this scholarship with extra support. According to the university, the deadline for application differs. However, the deadlines are between March and May 2023. However, Individual university deadlines must be checked by the students. Basis of awarding the scholarship
The scholarships are awarded to scholars based on merit. Moreover, there are no country-specific caps. Scholarships are offered in the UK across six higher education institutions namely Coventry University, the University of Manchester, the University of Bath, Imperial College London, the University of Southampton, and the University of Edinburgh.

This can be achieved through the exposure of their expertise. In a UK University, selected scholars from India can obtain an Early Academic Fellowship or a master’s degree. Moreover, the scholarship will cover tuition fees, travel costs, stipends, health coverage fees, visas, English language support, and special support for mothers.
The candidates can apply for an Early Academic Fellowship and Master’s courses as a part of the program across 21 universities in the UK in courses such as Computer Science, Biotechnology, Data Science, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, Medicine, Robotics, Machine Learning, Renewable Energy and Energy Management, Information Technology and more.
