Punjab University – 75% attendance not mandatory for exam

Punjab University – 75% attendance not mandatory for exam
  • The condition of 75% mandatory attendance was suspended for the students appearing for the odd semester exams in the wake of the pandemic by the Punjab University. A communication was issued by the office of the dean of university instruction announcing the provision for the students of the university’s constituent colleges, affiliated colleges and the teaching departments.
  • This condition is suspended for this semester only similar changes will not be made in the future. However, the teachers have been asked to submit the students’ attendance records at the department offices.
  • The University has provided an extension for the M.Phil. and Ph.D. students until June 30, 2022 for submitting their dissertation. The University has made a good decision by relaxing the condition of attendance this semester so that the students who did not attend classes due to various reasons will be able to attend the examinations.
