- Punjab University vice-chancellor has constituted the affiliation committee to consider the grant of affiliation to colleges. Even as the academic session is already over, the grant of affiliation is still pending and the matter was raised during the last senate meeting where a few members urged that affiliation must be granted immediately.
- The reports are yet to be taken by the affiliation committed although the inspections were conducted by various committees last year. After the committee\’s approval, the matter will go to the syndicate. The Punjab higher education department has also asked the varsity to complete the process immediately.
- A meeting of the standing committee of the college development council was conducted to grant scholarships to students belonging to various categories and also deliberated on the honorarium to nodal officers for 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 received from affiliated colleges. The tuition fee concession of 25% to wards of affiliated college teachers for the 2021-2022 session in the self-financing courses was also discussed.
