Over 47,000 Applications were received after the 1st Cut-Off

  • Delhi University received over 47,000 applications after the 1st cut-off was released. Over 7000 students completed the entire registration process and paid the fees as well. Over 9000 applications have been approved by the principals.
  • In Hindu College, the majority of students who took admission in Political Science(Hons.) were from Kerala. The cut-off for the unreserved category reached 100%. Some teachers argued that the student-teacher ratio should be equal. At Miranda House, the seats for the unreserved category are already filled and the seats for the reserved category will only be left after the 2nd cut-off list is released.
  • Most Colleges have received maximum applications for B. A Programme but there were no applicants for B.SC (Honours) Computer Science with the cut-off of 100 percent. Atma Ram Santana Dharma College approved 215 applications. Maximum admissions are happening in the courses like BA programme, Hindi (Honours), Economics (Honours) & BCom programme. Only 189 admissions took place in Rajdhani College against a total of 1,194 seats available
