- The Delhi University has over 3900 teaching posts vacant in the constituent colleges and over 3000 teachers are working against those vacant posts on an ad-hoc basis.
- The Rajya Sabha was informed of this notice on Wednesday and the union minister gave the information in a written response to a question in the House.
- The vacant teaching posts in various colleges is given as follows: 216 posts at Gargi College, 169 posts at Janki Devi Memorial College, 132 posts at Deshbandhu College, 143 posts at Ramjas College and 131 posts at Sri Venkateswara College.
