59,401 students have been admitted to UG courses till now. There exist more than 14,000 seats vacant seats in the university.

In the first round of spot seat allocation, over 26,200 candidates have applied for around 14,000 vacant seats in UG courses in DU colleges. 59,401 students have been admitted to UG courses till now. There exist more than 14,000 seats vacant seats in the university. For the first spot allocation round of the Common Seat Allocation System, the university issued a list of vacant seats.

To apply for the first round of spot allocation, candidates were given two days. Between November 24 and 26, candidates can accept the allocated seats. November 27 is the last date for online payment of admission fees. Seats allocated in a spot admission round will be final and no upgrade option will be offered. Candidates can select only one out of the list of vacant seats that the university publishes.

The allocations are done according to seat availability, order of preference of college and category and programme-specific merit. The university is admitting students through CUET this year.
