The ETS TOEFL and the National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU) have collaborated together in order to launch the ‘UK-India TOEFL Scholarship’. At least 25 Indian students will be supported with this scholarship which will be worth Rs 60 lakh. Interested students can apply for the scholarship at toefltest.in/scholarship before July 31, 2023.

Eligibility for this scholarship:
Candidates must possess a minimum TOEFL test score of 75 out of 120. They must have an offer letter from a UK university and must be studying for the first time at a UK university. They must be pursuing a UG or PG fee-paying course.
Students must also submit a 500-word essay along with their TOEFL test scorecard. The title of the essay must be “Creating a social impact with a UK-based Education”. Meanwhile, some changes have been made by the ETS to the TOEFL test. The test will be conducted for two hours instead of three hours. Moreover, it will now have a modern ‘Writing for an Academic Discussion’ task instead of an independent writing task.
