The Central Government of India has taken steps that will reform the fields of sports, education, regional language and skill development by bringing in the National Education Policy 2020. This was stated by Union Minister Anurag Thakur.
He addressed the 65th convocation at Varinder Auditorium of Doaba College, Jalandhar. The NEP 2020 aims to reform higher education systems in the country. One of the reforms is the 4-year undergraduate courses with multiple entries and exit options. NEP 2020 also focuses on the empowerment of women as they have been advancing in every field.
