- The University of Mumbai may conduct its summer 2022 examinations in online mode due to the Omicron scare and the rising number of Covid cases. The university has now put its decision of offline exams on hold due to the increasing cases. However, before the final call is taken, the advice of the committee will be taken into consideration.
- The colleges are reopened for students and classes are being held in hybrid mode. However, by December, many affiliated colleges in Mumbai University started conducting offline classes instead of hybrid mode.
