The Institution is placed on an expanse of 15 acres. Krishna Menon Memorial Government Women’s College is equipped with a library that consists of over 39000 Books, 50 Journals/Periodicals, Braille materials, 100 CD\’s and DVD\’s, popular magazines and back volumes and subscribes to national and regional newspapers. In addition to the Central Library, each department has a library. The Library also extends services such as Reprography, Question Paper Bank, Reference and Referral Services, etc.

The College has an Information Technology centre to facilitate the needs of the students with regards to the IT field so that the students can compete in the competitive world.

A canteen is facilitated on the college campus to take care of the nutrition needs of the students by providing healthy, hygienic and delicious foods at subsidised rates. The college also has a hostel for the students studying there providing good accommodation. A medical facility is also available for the students in the college.

Laboratories that are well equipped with sophisticated equipment are facilitated for the students in various departments to enhance their learning through practical classes in addition to theory-based knowledge.

Facilities for sports are present on the college campus keeping in mind the well-being and fitness of the student community. Students play various indoor and outdoor games such as Volleyball, Throwball, Basketball, Weight lifting, Carrom, Archery, Cricket, Hockey, Badminton and many more.

To sharpen the skills of the students the college conducts various curricular and extra-curricular activities such as the National Service Scheme which performs social services within and outside of the area and the National Cadet Corps through which students attend different camps and learn commandership. The college also conducts workshops, seminars and conferences for improving teaching skills and methodology of the study.

Mentoring programs are conducted for the students in which the teachers reach out and counsel them with regards to the issues of their personal and public life. Remedial coaching is conducted for the students who find it difficult to cope with their regular studies. Teachers give extra care to such students and help them achieve the desired results.

Programs such as the Additional Skill Acquisition Program, Walk With A Scholar and Scholar Support Program are conducted by Krishna Menon Memorial Government Women’s College for the welfare of the student community either by imparting skills or aiding them financially. Students from the economically unsound background and meritorious can also avail various central and state scholarships.

Career Guidance programs are conducted for the students of Krishna Menon Memorial Government Women’s College where students are given guidance on the courses they can opt-in the higher studies and the job opportunities they can pursue after their education.
