Schools in Jharkhand will be reopening from the 1st of February, 2022 after the short Covid-19 lockdown due to the third wave.
The education minister discussed the reopening of schools with parents and other intellectuals and sent the proposal to the Chief Minister who stated that the guidelines released by the WHO will be followed after reopening the schools in the state.
The final announcement will be given on January 31, 2022 regarding the reopening of schools. The education minister claimed that online calls were not successful and Government school children are also being affected.
As many states are re-opening schools, preparations are being made to reopen schools in Jharkhand too. However, the minister stated that a special team has been constituted to discuss the matter of fees under the leadership of a former judge.
