- The Indira Gandhi Technical University for Women is being set up with a new campus in Narela that can accommodate around 25,000 students. The technical institute is being operated near the University campus at Kashmere Gate until now.
- The Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology was established in 1998 and later conferred the autonomous status in 2013 offering courses that include B.B.A., B.Tech., M.Tech., B.Arch. and Ph.D. degrees. On their fourth convocation, it was announced that a new campus was being developed on a 50-acre land in Narela.
- As Universities of the country play a crucial role in its development, the government is with the University in each of its endeavors and tries its best to provide quality education to the students. The highest offer was made by Amazon Dublin to a B.Tech. students with a package of Rs. 1.2 Crore and more students have been offered good packages by renowned companies.
