From January 1, 2023, the annual practical examinations and project assessments for the academic session 2022-23 will begin according to the schedule released by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
The Central Board of Secondary Education released important instructions on Thursday. It also listed out measures that must be undertaken by the students and schools regarding the conduct of practical examinations, internal assessment and projects for Classes 10 and 12 in 2023.

CBSE has asked the students and parents to ensure that their subjects of study are correctly reflected in the list of candidates that are submitted to the Board by the schools. The students and parents must be aware of the subjects and syllabus of the practical examinations.
The students must be appearing for the practical examinations as per the schedule. Also, no second chance will be given to appear in the practical examinations by the Board.
Action By Schools
The syllabus for practical examinations must be completed well on time. Necessary arrangements must be ensured by the schools well in time. They include the identification of Internal Examiners and the preparation and stocking of laboratories.
Moreover, All the students and parents must be informed about the schedule of practical exams by the schools. The list of candidates who will be appearing for the practical examinations must be checked from the online system. Also, it must be ensured that the subjects and categories of students are reflected correctly in the online system.
A sufficient number of practical answer books must be present with the schools before the date of the practical examinations. Class 12 Practical Examinations will be conducted only by external examiners who have been appointed by the Board.
