- Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University has the final authority in approving new engineering courses or increasing seats in Telangana, the Supreme Court on Thursday made it compulsory for several private engineering colleges to obtain affiliation from the university after the criteria.
- Many private engineering colleges have secured AICTE nod for an additional 2,400 seats in computer science engineering, information technology, artificial intelligence, data science, and the Internet of things, etc, have to submit themselves to the authority of JNTU-Hyderabad and prove the infra credentials.
