Government Scholarships in Germany for Indian Students

In order to help international students financially to study in Germany, there are several scholarships, grants, and bursaries offered. Subsidized education is offered to students by the German government, universities, corporations, and some private organizations. Thus, no tuition fee is charged by state-funded institutions for both native as well as international students.

For International students, Germany has become a go-to destination. It attracts nearly 35,000 students from India alone. This makes Indians the second largest group of foreign students in the country. The country offers several scholarships keeping this in mind for international students. Moreover, undergraduate programs are offered free of cost in Germany in public universities. Students who meet the required eligibility criterion are admitted to these universities.
