- Bajali College was established 66 years ago in 1955 at Pathsala, Bajali in Assam to promote higher education in an economically handicapped society and to make education affordable to all. The self-financed co-educational institute is affiliated with the reputed Guwahati University, offering undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams.
- Bajali College also has post-graduation programs in Science. Bajali College was later changed to Bhattadev University under the Bhattadev University Act,2017 which was passed on 7th September 2017 by the Government of Assam
- Bhattadev University is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE. Moreover, the campus is surrounded by a rich flora which creates a serene atmosphere with an astounding view. ABOUT THE CAMPUS
- With a campus size of 16-acres, the Bhattadev University is pretty vast. Hostel facilities include 2 girls’ hostel and 1 boys’ hostel. All are located within the campus and are allotted to the students directly at the time of admissions. All hostels are governed and maintained by the Bajali College Hostel Rules. The library is well-stacked with numerous volumes of books on humanities, science, technology, commerce, etc. All separate departments have their libraries as well. Additional campus facilities include Canteen, Computer Lab, Gym, Library, and advanced Laboratories.
PLACEMENT CELL :
- Although the college conducts regular seminars and workshops, Bhattadev University doesn’t have many campus placements. But the guidance cell and the alumni association are very active and they keep sharing opportunities and regular updates with regards to any internship/job/career ideas with their students.
