DU to host 98th convocation – Over 1.7L digital degrees
  • Delhi University will be awarding digital degrees to 1.73 lakh students in its 98th convocation and printed degrees will be awarded within a month of the convocation. All the students who have completed their courses in 2021 will receive emails of the degrees.
  • After the hard copies of the degrees arrive by the second week of March, individual verification will occur and then, the degrees will then be sent to the respective colleges from where students can collect them.
  • The University has decided to issue printed degrees due to the difficulties faced by the students as it takes at least two years after graduation to get the degree. Out of the 1.73 lakh students, 77,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students will be receiving their degrees.
  • The students of SOL will be receiving their degrees in the next two months and officials stated that 650 PhD students will also be awarded their degrees this year. Earlier, data was collected through colleges which proved to be a hectic task but now, the data were collected directly through the new examination form.
