- Students of the Delhi University were denied entry for not having their vaccination certificates. The authorities issued a statement that requested that all the teaching and non-teaching staff above 60 years of age who are eligible for precautionary doses and the students get vaccinated.
- Students, however, complained that they had to wait for long hours outside the college gates requesting to let them into their authorities but got no response. Students alleged that the university is mandating vaccination when the government stated that vaccination cannot be made mandatory.
- Moreover, the notice outside the college stated that the students should have a vaccination certificate of at least one dose to be allowed inside the campus but there is nowhere written that a fully vaccinated person will not be affected by Covid and what is the point of asking vaccination certificates when temperatures are being checked.
- Also, parents protested demanding to withdraw the mandatory orders on Covid vaccination outside the Delhi Secretariat to the Chief Minister.
