At least 15 students had scored relatively less in Board exams when compared to the CUET. This has given them a second chance to enable them to study at a DU college of their choice.

The National Testing Agency has announced the names of 114 students who had 100th percentile scores. It was found that at least 15 students had scored relatively less in Board exams when compared to the CUET. This has given them a second chance to enable them to study at a DU college of their choice.

The majority of the students prefer Political Science at Hindu College while other preferences include a Bachelor’s degree in History, Psychology and English.

Shayema of Jamia Millia Islamia scored 83.80% on her Boards in the Humanities stream. She wishes to pursue B.A. (Hons) History in at any top DU college. She found CUET extremely helpful because it helped her target colleges like DU which have extremely high cut-offs. 

Adarsh Kumar Dubey of National High School, Kolkata (CBSE Board) scored 92.40% in his Boards in the Humanities stream. He prefers to study B.A. (Hons.) Political Science in Hindu College. He claimed that as his marks in Hindi were low in the Board results, it affected his overall percentage. With CUET, he is able to secure admission to Hindu College, which is his dream institution.

Nandini Mishra of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Ghaziabad (CBSE Board) scored 93.20% in her Boards in the Humanities stream. She now prefers to study B.A. (Hons.) Psychology at Lady Shri Ram College. She claims that CUET helped her in honing her skills for competitive examinations and judges one’s capability in a better fashion.

Shreya Semwal of Arwachin Bharti Bhawan Senior Secondary School (CBSE Board) scored 94.40% in her Boards in the Humanities stream. She now prefers to study B.A. (Hons.) English in St. Stephen’s College. She claims that CUET gave her more time to study and score good marks.

Faraz Sarwer of DPS Mathura Road, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 93.80% in his Boards in the Humanities stream. He wishes to pursue B.A. (Hons.) History in St. Stephen’s College. He stated that CUET has offered him another opportunity to improve and score well. Moreover, he stated that CUET will be better in the long term if students get enough time for preparations.

Garima of Rajikiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya Rohini, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 94.20% in her Boards in the Humanities stream. He wishes to pursue B.A. (Hons.) Political Science in Hindu College. She stated that if the Class 12 marks were considered, it would have been more difficult and CUET has paved the easy way.

Ekansh of KIIT World School, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 94.40% in his Boards in the Humanities stream. He wishes to pursue B.A. (Hons.) Political Science in Hindu College. He stated that CUET was a great initiative as it provided a level-playing field. However, he also pressed the fact that CUET needs some improvement.

Ishaan Shahabadi of Sachdeva Public School Sector 13, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 94.60% in his Boards in the Humanities stream. He wishes to pursue B.A. (Hons.) Pol. Sc. in Hindu College. He stated that CUET is a progressive step towards revolutionising education in India which offers a second chance.

Dishank Gandhi of Darbari Lal DAV Model SSS Pitampura, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 94.80% in his Boards in the Humanities stream. He wishes to pursue B.A. (Hons.) Political Science in top North Campus college. She stated that CUET served as a boon for her.

Bhavikaa Keshwani of G.D. Goenka Public School, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 94.40% in her Boards in the Humanities stream. She now prefers to pursue B.A. (Hons.) Political Science at Lady Shri Ram College. She stated that she had worked extra hard in CUET to improve her score which was lagged due to Board Examinations.

Jatin Verma of Salwan Public School, Gurgaon (CBSE Board) scored 94.60% in his Board exams in the Humanities stream. He prefers to study B.A. (Hons.) Political Science and B.A. (Hons.) History in any top North Campus college. He stated that CUET offered a single platform for all but wished the exams to be conducted earlier.

Semmozhi Ramesh of Mater Dei School, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 94% in her Boards in the Humanities stream. She wishes to pursue any humanities programme (Psychology, Sociology and History) at Lady Shri Ram College. She stated that CUET was based on what she had learned in school for her board exams which were comfortable.

Sunaina Lal of Springdales School, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 94.40% in her Boards in the Humanities stream. She prefers to study B.A. (Hons.) Political Science in Hindu College. She stated that the exam was beneficial for students like her. This provided an opportunity to improve her Board exam scores.

Nikita of Kendriya Vidyalaya Robert Square, Gol Market, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 93.40% in her Boards in the Humanities stream. She wishes to pursue B.A. (Hons.) Political Science in Hindu College. She stated that CUET was helpful and would help her secure admission to the college of her choice. The term 1 and term 2 system of CBSE was not advantageous which is why CUET was better.

Priyanshu Dixit of Kalkaji Public School, Delhi (CBSE Board) scored 92.60% in her Boards in the Humanities stream. She wishes to pursue B.A. (Hons.) Political Science in Hindu college. She stated that CUET improved her chances with an improved score.
