- Students of Delhi University who graduated in 2021 will be issued with hard copies of their degrees within two months of the convocation which is to be held in February. Usually, it takes at least two years from the day of graduation to receive the degrees and this move is aimed at reducing the woes of the students.
- Delhi University will be giving printed degrees to over one lakh students including the students from SOL. The data to be printed in degrees was collected through colleges, earlier, which was a difficult process.
- However, the students are now asked to fill their enrolment number and names in Hindi in the examination form which is reflected in admit cards and mark sheets too. After the declaration of results, emails were sent to the students to check their mark sheets and students who needed corrections were asked to contact their respective colleges.
- These data are sent for printing and nearly 77563 regular students will be handed over their degrees. Over 91850 undergraduates and 1126 postgraduates including 650 PhD students will be receiving their degrees this year.
