Delhi Schools to reopen from February 7 for classes 9 to 12
  • Schools and Colleges in Delhi have been allowed to reopen from February 7, 2022. Schools will resume offline classes for the students of classes 9 to 12 and detailed orders are awaited. Offline classes will also be resumed for nursery to 8th from February 14, 2022 and the timings of night curfew have also been revised.
  • After holding consultations with the government and reviewing the Covid-19 situation, the DDMA announced the reopening of schools. Online classes are expected to continue alongside for those who are not willing to attend offline classes.
  • Many parents were hoping for Delhi Schools to reopen at the earliest owing to the massive learning loss. However, many other parents were not keen on resuming offline classes due to the fear of Covid-19. The schools must plan timetables accordingly for all students and ensure that nobody misses out on things.
