CUET UG 2023 – Attendance rate of Phases 1 and 2 examinations

Till May 30, students from Manipur have the option to change their city. For exams till June 2, the NTA has released admit cards. On the whole, the total number of candidates registered for the exam was 14, 99,778. From May 29 to June 2, the third phase of CUET UG 2023 will be conducted. Attendance Report of CUET UG 2023

The Chairman of the University Grants Commission shared figures of attendance of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 from Day 4. The attendance recorded was 73.33 per cent while the total number of candidates scheduled was 1,49,900.

Across the country, during the first shift, the exam was conducted in 289 cities at 291 centres. However, during the second and third shifts, the exam was conducted in 255 cities at 350 centres and in 273 cities at 433 centres respectively. 20,690 students were scheduled to appear for the exam, in the first shift. Moreover, for the second and third shifts, 45,989 students and 83,221 students were scheduled to appear.

Schedule of CUET UG 2023 – May 21 to June 8

Common Universities Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023 began on May 21 and it will conclude on June 8. June 6 and June 7 have been kept as the buffer dates. The exams of the first two phases have ended. The average attendance of the two phases was found to be 69.3 per cent. During the first two phases, the exam was conducted in 303 cities at 712 centres. For the first two phases, a total of 14,88,375 were scheduled to appear.

Issues in Jammu and Kashmir – Centres assigned faraway

From Jammu and Kashmir, a total of 87,309 candidates registered for CUET UG 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the exam in Jammu and Kashmir after many students complained that their exam centres were in neighbouring states. Due to this reason, the exam began on May 26 instead of the scheduled date of May 21.
