Through CUET, only admission to 10 undergraduate courses was done at Jamia Millia Islamia University this year. Moreover, In August, a registration portal was opened by JMI for candidates seeking admission.

In the academic session 2022-23, CUET will be adopted wholly or partially by major central universities in the national capital for admissions to UG courses. Therefore, it will be compulsory for all central universities to admit students through CUET.

Moreover, this announcement was given by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in March. Over 14 lakh candidates had appeared for the Common University Entrance Test in the first edition of the exam.

What is the CUET exam? This year, candidates to Central Universities were admitted through Common University Entrance Test. Moreover, this exam consists of the academic procedure in accordance with the National Education Policy.

This year, Delhi University has introduced a four-year undergraduate program. Also, students are given multiple entries and exit options and one can acquire a certificate, diploma or degree depending upon their time of exit.
