Through Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023, admission to these UG programs will be conducted. The CUET UG 2023 is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Through CUET, in 2022, the Central University of Karnataka that is run centrally received 95,964 applications. This year, through CUET UG 2023, for fifteen courses, CUK plans to conduct entrance exams.

This year, admission for the undergraduate programs will be commenced by the Central University of Karnataka, Kadaganchi on May 21. Currently, 15 undergraduate programs are offered by the university such as BSc in Chemistry, BSc in Physics, BSc in Life Sciences, BTech in Electrical Engineering, BTech in Electronics and Communication, Bachelor of Business Administration and many more.

Program Duration at Central University of Karnataka

Depending on the course, the duration of the program varies significantly. The BTech program consists of 8 semesters or the duration is for 4 years. The BBA program consists of 6 semesters or the duration is for 3 years. The BA or BSc courses with research consist of 8 semesters or the duration. However, BA and BSc courses without research consist of 6 semesters or the duration is for 3 years.

Scholarships offered for students at Central University of Karnataka

A number of scholarships are offered by the university to aid students in need of financial help. On the basis of the availability of funds, scholarships are given to students in every subject. According to the Ordinance of the university, in each department of the university, Fee concession is also provided by the university.

Hostel facilities at Central University of Karnataka

Within the university campus, there are two separate hostels for boys and girls. On the basis of merit-cum-reservation basis, the hostel is allotted. It also depends upon the intake of the number of students in the departments. Moreover, students who hail from far-off places are given preference.

History of Central University of Karnataka

In 2009, the Central University of Karnataka was established. The university was established under an Act of Parliament. The Government of India established this university among the other sixteen universities during the UGC XI Plan Period. All over Karnataka, the Central University of Karnataka has territorial jurisdiction.
