Students Opposition to Delhi University Open Book Exams

Students opposition to Delhi University Open Book Exams

Delhi University has announced recently that the end term examinations for the final year students in its affiliated colleges will be conducted in an open book format from June 7, 2021. This decision has however received a lot of opposition from the student community.

Students have claimed that the decision to conduct the exams despite the pandemic is not acceptable and that most of the students are not in the right state of mind to appear for the end term exams due to the distress caused by the Covid crisis.

They also claim that not every student has access to high-speed internet and proper resources. Thus, as an alternative, Delhi University is being pushed to postpone the exams but there is no official announcement yet.
