Karnataka agrees with Plan B – Class 12 CBSE Exams

After the meeting with the Ministry of Education, all states were asked to give an opinion on how to conduct the exams for the CBSE board. Karnataka Government agreed with plan B which is to conduct the exams in the respective schools where the students are enrolled. The Exam will be conducted only for the main subjects and the time duration of the exam will be for 90 minutes.
Students will have to appear for one language and three elective subjects and the pattern will be of multiple options types. The exams have been planned to be conducted twice, i.e., from July 15 to August 1 and from August 5 to August 26.
However, it is difficult in changing the pattern as the Pre University Department has completed the work necessary for the exams and it would take nearly 75 days to schedule the exams, conduct it and announce the results and it will eventually stress the students if the exam pattern is changed at the end of the moment. The All India entrance exam for professional courses was also requested to be held after the Class 12 Exams.
