It was resolved by the Executive committee that admissions will be held centrally on the basis of the CUET score. This will come into effect from the academic session 2023-2024.

All admissions to the University of Delhi will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) from the next academic year. The DU official website admission.uod.ac.in has posted the official notice. It was resolved by the Executive committee that admissions will be held centrally on the basis of the CUET score. This will come into effect from the academic session 2023-2024.

Above all, this condition will include the UG and PG level along with those under minority quota and reserved category. Earlier, for admissions into postgraduate courses, Delhi university held its own entrance exam Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET).

Now, from the 2023-24 academic year, the entrance exam will be removed and will be replaced by CUET PG. Moreover, this change was proposed by a 10-member committee that was formed to suggest a strategy for admissions for Postgraduate courses from the academic session 2023-2024.
