- The Delhi University will release the schedule by the end of this week for the cut-off lists and the first cut-off list will be released by October 1 on the Delhi University official website du.ac.in.
- A total of five merit lists will be released in this first schedule and the candidates who have marks equal to or more than the cut-off will be eligible for admissions. The admission process will later begin on October 4 and will be held online. This year, a total of 4,38,696 candidates have applied for undergraduate admissions with is double as last year.
- Moreover, the number of students scoring above 95% has gone up and most of the applications are from CBSE students. Seats could be filled faster this year and only if the seats are left vacant, more merit lists will be released. Students will have three days to apply for admissions once the cut-off is out.
- The University is also planning to accommodate more students by introducing new courses under the NEP 2020. The Varsity’s Academic Council has approved the implementation of four-year undergraduate programs and NEP from 2022-2023.
