Conduct of SSLC Exams and Reopening of Schools – Karnataka

The Karnataka Education Ministry is soon planning to form a task force that comprises subject experts and covid technical advisory committee members to decide the reopening of schools for the students.
The task force will consider the continuous learning of the students and their regular evaluation. The online classes will begin from July 1 on DD Chandana and Deeksha portal and Makkalavani will be aired for younger children.
The state board exams for the students of Class 10 will take place on July 19 and 22. The students will answer a paper which will consist of the core papers that include Mathematics, Science and Social on July 19 and another paper which will cover all the languages on July 22.
The Exam is for 3 hours, i.e., 10:30 a.m. to 01:30 p.m. The pattern will be of Multiple Choice questions that are to be answered in OMR sheets. The Exam is taking place by following all the Covid-19 guidelines and Hall tickets are being issued.
