Bihar govt school students are to attend classes via TV

All the government school students of Bihar enrolled in classes 9 to 12th standard will be attending their respective classes from May 10 via the television channel DD BIHAR. Students will be taught about their academic syllabus and will be given a few guidelines on how to stay physically and psychologically fit amidst the crazy waves of the COVID-19 pandemic that has washed all over the country of India.

The syllabus has been strategically designed by the Bihar Educational Project Council with the cooperation of the United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF. Classes are scheduled to be held from 9 am-12 pm, with each class extending for 16 minutes. Sources claim that there would be three such sixteen minutes classes per one hour.  This digital educational program is all set to implement quality education and create health consciousness amongst the 38 lakh students that are presently enrolled in the government schools of Bihar.

This modern approach to education was designed as a means to overcome the restrictions brought about by the pandemic in the achievement of quality education. The general awareness scheme associated with this digital educational curriculum will also teach the students how they can stay healthy, robust, and calm during these dire times which is also a bonus. The classes have been structured in a way that is easy to comprehend and sources claim that students will have a merry time during these engaging hours!
