After reopening its borders, 2.6 lakh international students have arrived in Australia through the student visa route.
Soon after Australia reopened its borders to international students, around 2.6 lakh students from around the globe reached Australia for higher education. The Australian Trade and Investment Commissioner of South Asia has stated that Australia has taken the initiative to increase the employability of Indian students.
In order to increase employability skills, the country has unravelled Study Australia Industry Experience for Indian students pursuing their education in Australian universities. The Trade and Investment Commission of Australia has conducted a one-day roadshow on Study Australia in Chennai.
Information about studying in the country was provided along with communication with representatives and particulars about scholarships and visas. This event will also be conducted in Hyderabad, Kochi, Bengaluru, Jaipur and Pune.
Students will acquire an idea of the various courses offered and align them with their interests. Students, through this event, had the opportunity to interact with representatives of over 26 Australian universities. Australia also provides students with a world-class education and a strong career.
The increase in the number of international students is due to the high education standards, quality of living and post-study work opportunities.
