Assessment Criteria for Class 12 – Maharashtra Board

The Education Minister of Maharashtra School has released the assessment criteria for the students of Class 12 and the results will be declared by July 31. The Class 12 exams of Maharashtra were cancelled due to the second wave of Covid-19.
The assessment criteria are similar to the one released by CBSE to maintain uniformity in the Class 12 results. The weightage of Class 12 exams will be 40 percent which will be based on the marks of unit tests or first semester or practicals.
30 percent of the weightage will be given to marks scored in Class 11 and 30 percent of the weightage will be based on the average of the best three performing theory papers scored in Class 10.
The students who are not satisfied with their marks will be given two opportunities under the upgrade scheme in the adjoining examinations conducted by the state board when the situation relaxes.
