Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati, affiliated with Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health and Science and Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar Cantt, affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot has released online applications for the admission test at the respective colleges for the BSc. Nursing undergraduate degree course. Interested students can apply by May 15.
Eligibility criteria for Army Institute of Nursing, Guwahati:
- Candidates must have a minimum 10+2 or equivalent degree from a board recognized by the Government of India.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the 10+2 or equivalent exam. Passing the said subjects is also mandatory.
- 90% of the 50 available seats are reserved for the daughters of serving and retired army personnel.
- 10% seats are reserved for the female candidates of northeastern states.
Eligibility criteria for Army College of Nursing, Jalandhar Cantt:
- Candidates must have a minimum 10+2 or equivalent degree from a board recognized by the Government of India.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the 10+2 or equivalent exam. Passing the said subjects is also mandatory.
- All of the 60 seats available are exclusively reserved for the daughters of serving and retired army personnel.
Candidates must submit their applications by May 15, 2021. The application fee is Rs. 1000, which is to be paid online while filling up the admission forms. A late fee of Rupees 100 is to be paid in case the applications are submitted from 16th May 2021 – 31st May 2021.
The scheduled date for the exam is 27th June 2021 for both colleges.
