The National Testing Agency has reinitiated the online application process for the candidates who wish to apply for the UGC NET 2021 that is to be conducted from October 6 to 11, 2021. The application form can be submitted through the UGC NET’s official portal ugcnet.nta.nic.in until September 5, 2021.
The last date to make the application fee payment for the UGC NET examination is September 6, 2021 and candidates are allowed to make changes in their application forms from September 7 to 12, 2021.
As the December 2020 UGC NET was postponed in view of the Covid-19, the June 2021 schedule has also been delayed. In order to regularize the UGC NET examination cycles, the NTA has merged the UGC NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles so that they are conducted in CBT mode and thus, the application process is being reopened for the new applicants.
Also, the JRF slots for the December 2020 and June 2021 exams of UGC NET will be merged. However, the Subject-wise and category-wise allocation of JRF’s will remain the same.
