CUET 2023 – Exam Structure
The examination consists of 3 sections. The first section is further divided into Sections IA and IB. In this section, 40 questions must be attempted out of 50 in each language and the duration is 45 minutes for each language. The language will be tested through Reading Comprehension which is based on different types of passages that include Factual, Literary and Narrative excerpts.
In Section II, 40 questions must be attempted out of 50 and the duration is 45 minutes for each Domain-specific subject. For MCQ Based Questions, Input text can be used and the MCQs will be based on NCERT Class 12 syllabus only.
In Section III, 60 Questions must be attempted out of 75 and the duration is 60 minutes for each Domain-specific subject. The types of questions that will appear in this section are General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Quantitative Reasoning and Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
