Admission process for UG likely to start by the end of May – DU Admissions 2023

Students who are aspiring to get into the University of Delhi will have to appear for CUET UG 2023 and CUET PG 2023. For admissions to undergraduate programs, Delhi University is planning to begin the admissions process through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). According to a senior official, the process is likely to begin by the end of May month. Two separate portals will be launched by the university for admissions to UG and PG programs.

The Class 12 results were declared by the CBSE on Friday. It was seen that 87.33 per cent of students had cleared the exam. With CBSE results being announced just now, the CUET UG will also begin later this month according to the planned schedule. The process to launch the admission procedure is going on. Most probably, by the end of May, the admission process will commence.

Admissions through CSAS (UG) 2023 and CSAS (PG) 2023

Through CSAS (UG) 2023 and CSAS (PG) 2023, the admissions for UG and PG programs will be conducted. This year, the process of admission will be smoother. Moreover, the university is ready to conduct PG admission for the first time and they are confident about conducting this examination.

Maximum number of applications

Delhi University has received the maximum number of applications for CUET UG 2023. This number has been followed by Banaras Hindu University and Allahabad University. Moreover, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University and Jamia Millia Islamia have got the fourth and fifth largest number of applications respectively. From May 21 to 31, the CUET UG 2023 is scheduled to be conducted. Despite its best efforts, in the current academic session, the DU has failed to fill all the 70,000 seats. Across all its colleges, nearly seven per cent of the seats remain vacant.
