Libraries are academic places which are very inspiring for students and teachers.

The Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University further emphasised the importance of physical libraries. He stated that the university will create additional reading spaces for students. Physical libraries are very important and a great necessity. Students and teachers should go to libraries.

Additional Spaces at the Delhi University

When the Vice-Chancellor was discussing this proposal of Rs 153 crore rupees, they decided to have additional spaces for students to read. They also planned to employ air-conditioned reading rooms for students.

He also spoke about the plan of government to soon launch a digital library which will be centralized. In a single platform, students can access all the libraries in the country. He also emphasized the need of striking a balance between e-books and physical books.

The Vice-Chancellor unveiled the brochure and website of ICAL-2023 at the conference organised by the Delhi University Library System. ‘Transforming Academic Libraries: Evolution, Innovation, Quality, Transfiguration’ was the theme of the conference. At the Conference Centre, University of Delhi, the conference will be held from April 5 to 8 next year.

Students can use the library for CUET preparation. Digital libraries can also be used to facilitate CUET preparation online. They can also use the library to prepare for other examinations such as the SAT, GRE, IELTS and TOEFL.
